Searching for clips

- [Instructor] To perform a search in Media Composer. You'll want your bins to be open. At least the bins with the content you want to search. All you have to do then is press Control + F for Find in Windows or Command + F on Mac OS. I have my scene seven bin open. I'm going to make sure it's active by clicking in it and I'm going to press Control + F here on Windows. There are several types of asset that you can search using this Find window. And you'll notice that there's a Name tab. So you can, if you want to dock this with other windows. At the lower left corner, you can see a couple of green indicators to show that the bins have been indexed and there's another feature called Phrase Find which we won't be covering in this course, but it allows you to search the contents of your clips based on the words that are spoken.
