- [Instructor] For this tutorial I'm using a new project called Moving Segments in the timeline. I'm going to open up in this Sequences bin our scene seven, version one sequence. And in this sequence I've decided that there's a shot I want to remove. We've got this opening here and then it's just a repeat really, feels like this shot is happening twice. So I'm going to get rid of this clip. When you want to remove a whole clip, of course, you could use in and out marks in the Timeline window and you could just use Lift or Extract, but you can also use the Smart tool or one of the specific segment tools to select segments and remove them. I just want to call out, now that I think of it, a particular bit of confusion about the naming conventions for this tool. If I right-click on the Segment Mode button there, you can see I've got the option to choose the red or the yellow segment tools. When you see both of these tools…
