- [Instructor] Perhaps the last really important detail to be familiar with in the timeline window before you start building a sequence is the importance of these selection buttons, Source Selection, and Record Selection. Track patching is part of the story. But let's take a look at the impact of turning these buttons off and on. I'm going to patch my source video one to my record video three, and I'm not too worried about the audio for now, I'm happy with the way it is, but I want to edit a clip again into this sequence. Right now, the video one and video three tracks are enabled as are my audio one and audio two. So I'm going to click this red override button, which we'll get into shortly, and you can see that a clip has been added to the sequence on the tracks that I selected.
