- [Voiceover] Setting up a ChromaKey effect is very similar to setting up any other kind of multi-layer effect. You need a background and a foreground and you'll use a special effect to blend the two. In the case of Media Composer, you're almost certainly going to use the SpectraMatte effect. I've got a sequence already set-up here in this project and I want to import some media. Before I do that, I want to make sure I have the correct project format. So I'm going to go to my format tab and I see that I do indeed have a 720p project. Now, I'm going to to go to my source media bin, I'm going to right-click and choose input and import media. Here in our desktop folders we've got media. Of course you may not have put your media into the desktop but that's where mine is. And I'm going to go into the SpectraMatte folder and let's start by bringing in this background. I'll click open and I'll just double-click to open this up and there's our background image.
