- [Narrator] With so many tools and windows available in Media Composer, if you take the time to set up workspaces in the way that you want them, it can really speed up the use of the application. I'm just going to demonstrate setting up a workspace by pretty much randomly opening some panels. First of all, let's go to the windows menu and go to workspaces and choose the source record editing workspace. This is going to bring up the source browser of course, let's get rid of that for now. And let's just begin to move things around a little bit and change the layout. So I'm going to want, I think, a larger timeline. So let's pull this across a little bit. And maybe while I'm here I'm going to go to my tools menu and open up the audio mixer. Let's have the audio mixer down here on the left. I don't mind if it overlaps my project window a little bit.
