Setting a region to blur

- [Narrator] Notice that in the tracking window, aside from the additional options we have at the top, we've got the name T1 and we have Point A listed in this window. Now back in the effect editor, I need to specify the part of the image that I want to be blurred. I'm going to click here on the oval tool and I'm going to use it to draw around this gentleman's head just like this. Something like that is fine. I can enlarge the image a bit to check it. It seems okay. Maybe I'll resize a little, and having specified the region that you want to be blurred, of course, you then need to adjust the blur, so I can specify how blurry this is. I don't really need it to be totally blurry and very often you'll get better results by still revealing a little bit of the features of the person. It'll make the effect less distracting and allow the audience to focus on the action. We also have a feathering option to soften the…
