- [Instructor] As you get further into your edit and the timings of your adjustments become more and more precise, it's likely that you're going to move away from the extract splicing yellow modes, towards the lift overwrite red modes. And you're also more often than not going to be using the dual-roller trims so that you're not changing the relative timings of events later in your sequence. There are two more special kinds of dual-roller trim that deserve a mention and they're the slip trim and the slide trim. I just clicked on an edit here. I'm in our Anesthesia radio edit working sequence. And of course, that's taken me into the dual-roller trim because I clicked right in the middle of the cut. If I hold the shift key, I can add or remove trim rollers anywhere I like.
