Slipping and sliding segments
- As you get further into your edit and the timings of your adjustments become more and more precise. It's likely that you're going to move away from the extract splicing yellow modes towards the lift overwrite red modes. And you're also more often than not going to be using the Juul roller trims so that you're not changing the relative timings of events later in your sequence. There are two more special kinds of Juul roller trim that deserve a mention. And they're the slip trim and the slide trim. I just clicked on an edit here. I'm in our anesthesia radio edit working sequence. And of course that's taken me into the Juul roller trim because I clicked right in the middle of the cut. If I hold the Shift key, I can add or remove trim rollers anywhere I like. So if I now click on the inside edge of this clip, I'm going to just click here now. I've created an alternative kind of Juul roller trim. I still have to trim handles…
