- [Instructor] Subclips are a convenient way for you to organize your media. This is particularly useful if you've got very long clips. I don't have many super long clips in this project, but I do have a clip with a couple of different sections. I've got this 732 two shot open in my SourceMonitor. To create a subclip, you mark the section that you're interested. Let's take this from the beginning and up to the halfway mark. That's the end. And then simply drag from the SourceMonitor into a Bin. You'll notice that the word sub is added to the clip name. And I'm going to add another one. I'm going to mark an in point and an out point and drag that into the Bin as well. So far, these look just like copies of the clip. And if I go to the Text View, you'll see that we've now got two items with separate styles of icon at the to of the bin.
