The Submaster effect

- [Instructor] If your system is struggling to play back and you are going to render, you can just select your tracks, go to the Timeline menu, go to Render, and choose Render at Position. Probably have to put my play head in the right spot first. Or, you can use the in and out marks to specify a range. And now the menu shows Render In/Out. When you render this way, Media Composer renders all of the effects and these green dots will all disappear. I won't do it right now, because it'll just take a few moments. But, you don't need to render every single track in this way. I'm just going to clear those in and out marks. And in fact, there are a couple of ways of rendering just a single layer using the Submaster effect. So here, I'm going to mark the region in the timeline where these complex layers of effects are. I'm going to just hold down cmd here on Mac OS or ctrl on Windows, and I'm going to add a video track. I'm right clicking and choosing New, Video Track. And with this play…
