- [Instructor] What I really want to do is perform a reverse three-point edit. A reverse three-point edit works like this. I'm going to remove my marks from the source monitor, and I'll remove my marks from the timeline window. And I'm going to set the duration I want in the sequence. I'm going to be lazy with this. I'm going to select a clip, and I'm going to press the t key, which is the same as clicking on the Mark Clip button at the top of the timeline window. This specifies a duration. I have to be a little bit careful because I've also now got my video one track enabled. So I'll turn that off. And now in my source monitor, all I need to do is position my playhead at the beginning of the part that I want. Just to make this clear, I'm going to add an endpoint.
