Timing your sequence start
- [Narrator] By default, new sequences begin at one hour exactly in Media Composer. You can change this by going to file and into settings and into the project settings, opening up general, and you'll find there's a default starting timecode option. This is going to apply to any new sequences that you create not any existing sequences. You can also change the start timecode for existing sequences by clicking right in the bin container. I'm going to select here, this is the anesthesia for review sequence that we're looking at. And I'll scroll over a little bit shorter space because we've got quite a nice large composer window. But here in the start column, I can just type a new start timecode, and it'll update in the timeline window. Here for example, if I decide I want to start at one minute instead of one hour, I can press enter, I get a warning message, "Are you sure you want "to change the starting time…
