Trim on the fly with the J, K, and L keys

- [Instructor] As well as using the keyboard to make precise incremental adjustments when trimming, you can actually also use the J, K, and L keys that we've previously used for playback. Here in the timeline window, for example, if I press L, playback plays forwards. - Ah, yes. - [Instructor] K pauses, and J plays backwards. (dialogue playing backwards) Pressing L and J multiple times will play back at multiple speeds. - Ah, yes. (dialogue speeding up) - [Instructor] And there comes a point where the playback is so fast, the audio switches off automatically. To illustrate using these keys when trimming, I'm going to add a new clip to our sequence, just the full version of a clip, so it's nice and long, to demonstrate the playback. I'm going to open up this three-three clip in our anesthesia dailies bin, and I'm taking the whole thing. My playhead's at the beginning of the clip. I'll move my timeline playhead…
