Trim on the fly with the JKL keys

- [Instructor] Now that I know I can selectively sync lock specific tracks. I can turn on the sync locks for my video one and audio one, and leave my music where it is, and begin to perform some more advanced trimming operations. I'm going to just click here to add a trim roller to the end of this first shot. And, notice, if I want to, I can hold the shift key down, and manually add additional trim rollers wherever I like. So, here, for example, I'm performing a rather complex trim. Notice that Media Composer won't let me, and the reason is, that I've got a dual roller trim on one edit on a clip, and only a single roller on another clip, you see, we've got this bright red trim roller telling me that this doesn't work. And it's quite interesting that the design of Media Composer allows me to get into this situation, where I can add rollers that, actually, are unusable, but I suppose I could, at this point, hold down the shift key, and add a roller to the other side of this edit.
