Using Lasso to set trim handles

- [Man] Earlier we selected clip segments by lassoing left to right either from the top towards the bottom right corner or from the bottom towards the top right corner. And we always want to lasso left to right to select clip segments in this way. The reason is that when we lasso right to left over clips, we actually go into a special kind of trim mode called a slip trim. And that's a type of trim that we'll be looking at another time. I'll just click on the time code here to come out of trim mode, but there is a quick way to lasso just across an edit to add trim rollers to the selected clips. And that's to lasso only around one edit on one or more clips. And when you do so, you get a dual-roller trim, and then, of course, your composer window is in trim mode. You can click on either side of the edit to choose if you want a single or dual-roller trim. I'll just click again on the timecode here to come out of trim mode.…
