- [Instructor] After all the talk that we've had of trimming and moving clips and sequences in such a way that you might lose sync, it turns out that there's an extra tool in the timeline window that can protect you from losing sync. And to illustrate this, I'm going to take this cutaway shot that we've got at the beginning of the sequence. We just put this in to show clips on other tracks. I'm going to take this and I'm going to line it up with the gap we have in our sequence. I'm going to hold the CTRL key or CMD key on Mac OS to lock this in and performing an over-write, move of the segment so it's nicely lined up over that gap. While we're here, I might as well just hold CTRL or CMD and snap that audio up one track, too. I have my trim mode set to the smart tool so I can trim any of these clips. And if I go into the yellow x-track spliced in style trim and click and drag to shorten this clip, you can see that, of course…
