- [Instructor] After all the talk we've had of trimming and moving clips in sequences in such a way that you might lose sync, it turns out that there's an extra tool in the timeline window that can protect you from losing sync. And to illustrate this, I'm going to take this cutaway shot that we've got at the beginning of the sequence. We just put this into show clips on other tracks. I'm going to take this and I'm going to line it up with the gap we have in our sequence. I'm going to hold the Control key or Command key on Mac OS to lock this in and performing an overwrite move of the segment so it's nicely lined up over that gap. While we're here, I might as well just hold Control or Command and snap that audio up one track too. I have my trim mode set to the smart tool so I can trim any of these clips, and if I go into the yellow extract splice in style trim and click and drag to shorten this clip, you can see that…
