- [Instructor] The keyboard setting in Media Composer allows you to see the layout for your current keyboard shortcuts, but it also gives you a whole new set of options for assigning shortcuts using the command palette. I'm going to go to file, and I'm going to choose settings. I'm going to go to the user category. I'll scroll down to keyboard and I'm going to duplicate this keyboard setting. I'm going to right-click and choose duplicate. Then, I'm going to choose the new setting by putting a check in the box and I'll click to rename this, and I'll just call this My Keyboard, and press enter. Now I'm going to double-click on the setting and you should see a familiar layout. I've got the letters of the keys here, but also if you hover your cursor over any of these existing shortcuts, you'll see which shortcut has been assigned at any given time.
