Recording and transferring audio

- [Voiceover] Let's start by creating a new project if you don't still have one open. Recording audio into the standalone version of Melodyne is very straightforward. First, make sure the input and sample rate are set correctly, which we've covered previously, and of course, if you're using a pre-amp or any additional audio hardware with your system, make sure it's functioning properly. To record audio onto one or more tracks, click the record enable button for the track, or tracks onto which you wanna record. Then, just make sure your cursor is positioned. In this case, we're right at the start, or zero, but if for some reason you wanted to record later in the timeline, just move your cursor, then click the record enable button, and the play button, and audio will be recorded. You can click stop or play to end the recording, and that's pretty much all there is to it. Keep in mind that you can also add a keyboard shortcut for record, if you don't want to click the button every time…
