Processing a scan

- In this video, we'll do some preliminary processing to reduce the number of faces and colorize our scan. You can see that I'm on the Process tab, and I want to start by simplifying the geometry a little bit. You can find it over here on the left. Now this is a pretty high resolution scan, and I want to reduce it so that it's easier to work with in our mesh software. I'm gonna take it down to about 150,000 faces and choose Run. The ultimate resolution is really up to you, and, remember, if you're using the free license, you'll need to work with a more decimated mesh. You can see there's a little bit more decimation of the mesh. Ultimately, this is gonna be a pretty good resolution for 3D printing, and I'm pretty happy with it. You can see under Geometry that there are some other tools. Most of these functions we are going to run in MeshMixer so we're going to leave them alone here in Skanect. The other thing I want to do on this tab is choose Colorize. I'm gonna make sure that…
