Sizing and exporting your model

- Now let's choose the size and wall thickness for our object. With commercial 3D printing, you pay for the volume of the material in your design and so it's often best to hollow it out. Before we do that, let's choose our size. We'll go to Analysis, choose Units Dimensions. We can click and drag on these values on the side to change the numbers. I'm going to adjust my z-axis here so that it's about 150 millimeters, 149, that's fine. I'll choose done, then I'll go into Edit on the sidebar and choose Hollow. Now, I'm going to be working in a material called full color standstone and this requires a wall thickness of about three millimeters. So up here, I'm actually going to go just a little bit more and do 3.1. Now that I've changed the Offset Distance, I'm going to update the hollow. Great, our wall thickness is updated. Now let's do an escape hole. When we're working with 3D printing, we need to make sure we have a place for this extra support material inside to escape. I'm going to…
