- [Instructor] In this video, we'll cover some basic tips for setting up a background in your photogrammetry photo shoot, as well as some tips for taking advantage of background imagery in your photogrammetry software workflow. Let's start off by reviewing some goals we should keep in mind for any photogrammetry photo shoot. First, we'd like the subject to fill each image as much as possible. You don't even necessarily have to include the entire subject in every shot. If you're overlapping shots correctly, your software will handle stitching everything back together correctly. If possible, any background image that is included can help us to align the photos in 3D space and figure out which ones share key points. And lastly, we'd like to make sure that we've set up the background in such a way so that after shooting, selecting, and masking out the background is as easy as possible either in photo editing software, like…
