How to align photo sets in Metashape with basic settings

- [Instructor] In this video, we'll take a look at some basic alignment settings in MetaShape. I'm working in the exercise file sample-set-02-stillLife-estimated.psx, which you can find in the exercise folder, sample set 02 stillLife. And here we've imported a set of photos into MetaShape, we've done a double check of quality using the built in quality estimator tool. And now we're ready to align these photos so, the alignment process in MetaShape breaks down into a few steps. First, examining each camera to find internal settings like focal length, focal point and lens distortion coefficients, as well as the rotation and position of each camera in space. Then each photograph is examined for what MetaShape thinks are important features likely to show up in other photos. These are called key points.
