How to calibrate a lens for photogrammetry in Metashape

- [Instructor] In this video, we'll walk through the process of calibrating a lens for photogrammetry in Metashape. In most cases, Metashape will be able to automatically detect many of the factors that will cause lens distortion and be characteristic for your camera and your lens automatically. And the software can pull that information out of the EXIF data that's connected to all of your image files. Now, for some reason if this data's missing, or if you just want to make sure you're getting the most accurate calibration of a lens, we can use a manual calibration process right inside of Metashape. So before we get into lens calibration, let's take a look under the tools menu at our camera calibration dialogue. So as we go through our workflow in Metashape, we'll get information here in terms of what the software thinks is going on with our lens, what sorts of adjustments it's making to how it's dealing with the images…
