- [Instructor] In this video, we'll talk about how to plan for your photogrammetry photo shoots. Most of what you'll need to take into account is very straightforward and easy to execute, but it's not necessarily intuitive, especially if you've been trained to take photographs in the quote unquote correct way. So let's take a look at some general tips that'll help you out quite a bit. First and foremost, too many images is better than not enough. It's really easy to call out redundant images or ones that aren't high quality enough later on, but it's obviously very difficult to create ones that don't exist in the first place without re-shooting your entire scene. You want to plan for a really high degree of overlap between images, something like 80%. This is a place where it feels like you might be doing things wrong, but when it comes to photogrammetry, a key thing to remember is that only geometry visible in at least…
