Optimizing cameras in Metashape

- [Instructor] In this video, we'll take a look at optimizing cameras in Metashape. After aligning a set of photos and Metashape, we can weed out high error tie points and fine tune camera positions and optical parameters by optimizing our cameras. So to help us out here I've got the exercise file sample set 04 statue aligned.PSX. And you can find that in the exercise folder sample set 04 statue. And what we have here is a set of photos that's been aligned and I can see I've got the sparse point cloud. So before I go onto other stages of my workflow, I'd like to make sure I optimize these cameras and make sure that my sparse cloud doesn't have too much error in it. I also noticed that after I ran the alignment I got a message that said some cameras fail to align. So before we start optimizing, let's take a look down in our photos pane, and I'm going to switch from my icon view to the detailed view. And we can sort by which…
