Prealignment settings in Metashape

- [Instructor] In this video, we'll take a look at two optional steps we can take before aligning a set of photos in Metashape that can help us to make our workflow more flexible and more accurate. To start, I've got an exercise file open called sample-set-04-statue.psx. And you can find that in the folder labeled sample-set-04-statue. All I've done so far in this file is to import the set of photos that are in the pics sub-folder of the sample-set-04-statue folder, and these are all done with a turntable setup where the camera and the background are static. So I've got some plain background photos and I can see one right here. Let's just double click on the photos pane to open that up. So what I've done with each change of camera position is to just take a photo of just the background with no object in there. And in Metashape, I've applied a mask across the whole image, and that's going to help us when we get to…
