Reducing overlap in Metashape photosets

- [Instructor] In this video, we'll take a look at some tools inside of Metashape for removing images that may be redundant. I'm working in the exercise file, sample-set-04-statue-inspected.psx, which you can find in the exercise folder, Sample-set-04-statue. So far we've imported and aligned the set of photos in the pics sub-folder of the sample-set-04-statue folder. We've done a camera optimization, we've imported and sub-aligned the photos in the pics extra sub-folder of the sample-set-04-statue folder. We've done some inspection to analyze our point cloud and make sure everything is lining up correctly. We're almost to the point where we can generate a dense point cloud and depth maps for all of our images. Now, that's a fairly resource intensive process. So if we can possibly weed out any photos that might be redundant, might be in our best interest to do so. And this is an especially useful technique if you're…
