Using masks to align turntable images in Metashape

- [Instructor] In this video, we'll take a look at using masks in Metashape. Now masks are really helpful in Metashape for tagging different sections of our photos to help the software from getting confused. We can use masks in lots of different stages of the workflow, including alignment, building depth maps, building meshes, and building textures. In this video, we'll take a look at using it in the alignment process. So I've got a new blank project here in Metashape. I'm going to go ahead and import some photos. So let's go to the workflow menu and I'll add a folder. And in this case, I'm working in the exercise file folder labeled sample set, 01 bird. And I want to select that pics folder. Let's just import all of those photos. Now I'm getting a warning here that I've got some images with variable zoom in this set and that that can lead to suboptimal results.
