- [Instructor] In this exercise, I will demonstrate how to place a north arrow cell at the 90 degree north orientation automatically when the current view window is rotated to an unknown angle. Continue using the file for chapter four, Advanced AccuDraw Techniques.dgn, and using view groups, select the NORTH ARROW model. In this exercise, I will demonstrate how to place a north arrow cell at the 90 degree north orientation automatically. The current view window is rotated to an unknown angle from the north 90 degrees. Select the place cell command, and using the tool settings dialog, select the browse button, and select the north arrow cell. Issue a tentative anywhere in the view window and key in O to display the AccuDraw compass. Key in T for top view to rotate the compass to the top view or the unrotated view orientation, and left click to accept this compass orientation, and to place the north arrow cell at this orientation.
