Adding a parcel

- [Instructor] In this exercise, I want to demonstrate how to add an additional parcel, where the parcel boundaries are defined by length, not angle. Continue using the file for Chapter Four, Advanced AccuDraw Techniques.dgn, and using view group, select the add a parcel model. Select the SmartLine command, and snap to P1 to start the SmartLine. Use the RE shortcut to align the compass with the existing parcel's bottom edge. Key in a distance of 100 feet, and left click to accept. Use RE to align the compass with the right edge of the existing parcel, and key in a distance of 120 feet, and left click to accept. Next, key in the distance of 105 feet for the top edge of the new parcel. And use the intersection snap to identify the two possible edge locations. And left click to accept the preferred top edge for the new parcel. Use the dimension element label line command to label the new parcel dimensions.
