Aligning elements
- [Instructor] In this chapter we will learn how to apply our new AccuDraw knowledge using practical examples. Open the file for chapter four, Advanced AccuDraw Techniques.dgn, and using view group, select the Re-Align an Element model. In this exercise we will fix a non orthogonal shape, so that it is orthogonal without knowing any dimensions or having to set any angles on the shape. Using the cast navigation dialog, select the modify command and select the building element at P1. Using the AccuDraw shortcut, RE, I can align the compass to the building element using the right edge of the building shape, and left click to accept the compass rotation. Now I can use the enter key to activate smartlock along the right edge axis. Next, I can hover on P2 and left click to accept.
