Looking at the Copy and Move Parallel commands

- Now let's take a look at the Copy and Move Parallel command. The Move Parallel command is also located under the Copy button on the Manipulate toolbox. Let's open the Manipulate toolbox while we work through all these commands. I will hold down the Copy button and select the Open as a Toolbox. The Move Parallel command allows me to copy elements so that they have specific distances between them. To turn this into a Copy Parallel command you must turn on the Make Copy option in the Tool Settings dialog. I honestly have never used Move Parallel. I always use Copy Parallel. When you use Copy Parallel you need to define the distance between the elements. For example, I want to offset the Smartline upwards using a distance of 10 feet between them. So I will select the existing Smartline and issue a left-click anywhere above the element. This point to accept the Copy Parallel determines if the copied element is above or below the existing element. I can continue to issue left mouse clicks…
