- Now let's try to place elements relative to existing elements, the same way we did using the origin shortcut in the Acudraw exercise. Only this time, we don't have Acudraw. So we have to use Precision Input. Continue using the file for chapter four, precision input dot DGN, and using view groups select the model origin without Acudraw. First, I want to place a circle in the center of the rectangle element. To do this with Precision Input, I need to know the size of the rectangle. I can do this using the measure commands or using the dimension commands. Here's a tip, if you use the dimension element command and the label line tool settings option, you can display the length and angle of any element without having to actually place a dimension or use the measure command.
