- [Instructor] Now that we have spent several minutes going through all of the different interfaces components, let's review the User Preferences so that we can tweak some of the settings to control our own personal interface. Continue using the file for Chapter One: Surviving the Interface. To access User Preferences, I will select the Workspace pull down menu, and select Preferences. I am not going to go over all the preference settings available at this time, but I am going to point out a few settings that I think should be set differently from the start. The first setting that I want to take a look at is in the Input category. When you select a category, the right side of the dialog will display that category's settings. You will see this style of dialog box quite a bit in MicroStation and it requires that you select a category first and then review the settings.
