Reference File Manager

- In this chapter, we're going to take a look at how to work with Reference Files. Reference Files exist because in a normal situation, there are multiple CAD users that need access to the same project data simultaneously. Let's say our organization is working on a road project. We have three departments. We have a Road department, a Bridge department, and a Survey department. Users in each of those departments have to have simultaneous access to the design in progress during the entirety of the project. In order to do that, each department and each user must be in their own design file. Then, so that we can see each other's work as it progresses, we use their files as reference files to our file. The first thing we're going to take a look at is how to use these reference files. Then after we learn how to use them, we'll go in from scratch, and create all this manually.
