- [Instructor] In this exercise, I want to demonstrate how to create a Saved View with settings stored for later access. This is especially useful for taking advantage of level standards and controlling plotted output. Open the file for chapter 3-Using Views.dgn, and using View Group, select the Saved Views model. To access the Saved Views command, select the Utilities pull down menu, and pick Saved Views. Using the Saved Views dialog, click on the Create Saved View button, and key in the name RECEPTION, and left-click in View 1 to save that view. This new Saved View will save the current status of all the settings in this view. Now let's restore a previously Saved View. Double-click on the Saved View RECEPTION NO TEXT, and review the settings in the Tool Settings dialog. By default, all the settings displayed in the lower portion of the Tool Settings dialog will be restored using this Saved View. Issue a data point in View 1 to apply the RECEPTION NO TEXT Saved View.
