- [Narrator] In this exercise, I will continue to demonstrate how to input precision coordinates, distances, and angles. Using the old-fashioned way. Similar to using the @X,Y and @distance<angle in AutoCAD. Open the file for chapter four using Precision Input.dgn. And using view group select the model XY Coordinates. In this first example, I want to use the key in browser with precision input commands to draw a 100 foot by 100 foot square shape. For this exercise, I want to open the key in browser permanently. To better demonstrate these key in commands. Using the pull down menus, select help, key in browser to open the dialogue permanently. I will shrink it, and leave it floating for this demonstration. First, let's take a look at the X,Y or X,Y,Z key ins. First, we need to learn the precision input key ins for coordinates. This key in is identical to using the X,Y,Z key in in AutoCAD.
