Using the Rotate Element shortcut

- The rotate element feature allows me to align AccuDraw to existing elements. Using the View group, select the Rotate Element model. For this example, I want to align the compass to the existing parking lot while adding a block element to extend the parking area. I will select the Place Block command and use the first point on the upper left corner of the existing parking lot. The block shape will automatically be orthogonal and I want to rotate it to align with the existing edge. I will key in r+e to activate the rotate element AccuDraw feature and hover on the edge of the parking lot. This will align the AccuDraw compass to the existing parking lot. I need to left-click to accept this rotation and to finish placing the block shape using the dimensions 42 feet for the green axis and 109 feet for the red axis. Next I want to add parking stall lines to the new parking lot. Using the Place Line command I will tentative snap to the upper left corner of the new parking lot and key in "o"…
