Using the Task Navigator

- Now, let's take a look at the Task Navigation dialogue which is docked by default on the left-hand side of the application window. This dialogue provides a central tool chest for the majority of the MicroStation commands. This dialogue is unique due to the numerous ways we can change its visibility to accommodate different uses, different screen sizes and project workflows. The main task tools located at the top and the task panels and tabs located in the lower two-thirds of the dialogue. If I scroll using the available scroll bar, you can see that there are additional tabs and panels located at the bottom of the Task Navigator dialogue. These tabs, if selected, will expand to display additional groups of commands associated with specific drawing tasks. For example, the Terrain Model panel contains commands that are used specifically for working with terrain model elements. If I were working on a terrain model, I would want to select this tab.
