Using Text

- The objective of this chapter is to learn how to place and edit text in dimensions. There are two basic types of text elements: a text element and a text node element. The difference between them is a text element is a single line of text and a text node is a multi-line piece of text or a paragraph. Both types of text elements are placed using the Place Text command. Text nodes are automatically generated when the Enter key is used in the Text Editor dialog. You won't even know when you place one or the other. It just happens. The only thing you need to know about text nodes is how to control the node display in the view window. The display of this node is controlled using the View Attributes. The View Attributes command is located in the View controls located at the top of each view window.
