Using the Tool Settings dialogue

- Now let's take a look at the Tool Settings dialogue. Which is a floating dialogue in the upper-left corner of you View window. This dialogue needs to be opened all the time. In fact, whenever you select a command, this dialogue will automatically open to displace settings that relate to that command. Closing this dialogue won't benefit you because as soon as you select another command, it is going to reopen. Providing you the settings for that command. What you need to do is find some place on your screen where you can live with the Tool Settings dialogue always being opened. This is not an easy task. There are a couple of options available to minimize the intrusive nature of this dialogue. Let me demonstrate how this dialogue works. I am going to select the Line command from the Task Navigation dialogue. You can see how it populates the Tool Settings dialogue with the Line command options for Length and Angle.
