Using bearing angles

- [Instructor] This exercise will demonstrate how to enter bearing angles using AccuDraw. Continue using the file for chapter four, Advance AccuDraw Techniques.dgn, and using view group select the bearing angles model. Here you can see the parcel we want to enter using bearing angles. Before you can input bearing angles in MicroStation, you need to define the design file angle settings to take bearing angles. Using the pulldown menu, select Settings, Design File, Angle Readout, and change the direction mode to bearing. Click OK to save this change and close the dialog. When entering bearing angles, you need to use the upcaret symbol for the degree symbol. Using the task navigation dialog, select the smart line command and left click anywhere in the lower portion in the view window. Using the AccuDraw dialog, key in a distance of 110 feet, and use the tab key to navigate to the angle field and key in N, seven five, upcaret, two six, foot mark, 11, inch mark, E for the angle and left…
