Using right-click menus
- Now let's take a look at some of the right click contextual menus that are available. We've already talked about what happens when you right click on top of the toolbox. You are allowed to turn tools on and off for that toolbox. Again, you'll do this after you've worked with MicroStation for a couple of weeks and you know what tools you are not going to use on a regular basis. If you right click on top of a tool in a task navigator you will get the option to open that section of the task navigator panel as a toolbox. If you right click in middle of the view window, you automatically get common commands that can be applied to any element type such as Copy, Move, Scale, and Rotate. When you open up a dialog, I'm going to use the Level Display dialog for this example, you can right click in the dialog to access commands relating to that dialog's purpose.
