Using views and view controls

- In this session, I will show you how to use multiple Views when working in a large design file. MicroStation provides multiple Views to simplify working in a single design file. You need to learn to take advantage of more than one View Window, to discover how this can eliminate repetitive zooming and panning. MicroStation provides one of the best multi-view environments that allow you to make use of multiple monitors, or the new, larger, landscape screen sizes. Although these Views work independently of one another, they also allow you to work seamlessly between them. You can draw a line from one View to another with no intermediate clicks to control the navigation. Think of the eight Views as independently-controlled cameras that can be used to view different areas of the drawing. These Views also allow you to view a design file, using different variations of level display, level symbology, window area, and View attributes.
