- [Instructor] When you work with texts in Excel there are times when you want entries to be lowercase, sometimes upper case, sometimes a mix. Often like in column A, it would make sense to have these letters be uppercase. They just tend to look better. Some of them are, some of them aren't. Let's adjust them all, using an Excel function called, upper. And I'll do this in column B. We could approach this a couple of different ways. We could highlight all the cells ahead of time, and simply write the function equal upper. As you type it, it doesn't have to be upper case of course. Left parenthesis. I'll click on cell A two, but instead of pressing enter, since I've got all these cells highlighted, I'll press Ctrl + Enter there we are.
