- [Instructor] Once you have a class created in Microsoft teams for education, you can begin to organize it by using channels. Let's take a look at what channels are, where they're located and how we can create new ones. On the left-hand side here, I can see my different teams and at the bottom is my Biology 101 class that I just created. If I click on the arrow to the left of it, I can see the different channels that exist within this team. Now currently there is just a general channel and it will be a general channel by default in every team that you create. It's the place where students, staff, whoever can communicate store and share files and do more generally related to that course. Now you can break this down further and channels really act as a subfolder within your team, specific to a certain topic or group.
