- [Instructor] I've now created my Biology 101 class inside of Teams for Education and I've added some channels. In this video, we'll take a look at Tabs and what they can be used for. Right now, I'm inside of my Biology 101 class and I'm in the general channel. Remember that by default, each Team will have a general channel. Inside the channels are tabs. Let's take a look at the main part of the screen where at the top, you'll notice several different tabs that appear by default general channel. They include posts, files, class notebook, assignments and grades. Now we'll go over them more but I just want to mention briefly what they do. Posts is where the majority of communication will take place. So under this tab is where students can share updates, announcements, ask questions, have discussions.
