Calendaring in Outlook and Teams

- [Instructor] Well, there are a wide range of options for how an organization might communicate using Outlook or Teams. The choices in the calendar are much more limited because you can either do something in the Outlook calendar or not, do it in the Team's calendar or not. And it's a small area of overlap focused on your personal calendar. For example, if you serve as a delegate for someone else's calendar, or if you manage other people's calendars, or other calendar, including exchange calendars, you can only work with those calendars in Outlook because in Teams you only have access to your own calendar. If you want to schedule and hold live events, or create a meeting in a channel, you must schedule those live events and channel meetings in teams at this point.
