- [Gini] As of April, 2019, one out of every 10 emails opened each day was opened using Microsoft Outlook. With email, calendar and task and contact management capabilities, Outlook is not only the most popular desktop email client, it is the perfect workplace assistant for knowledge workers, professionals, and executives. And as of April, 2020, there were 75 million people who used Microsoft Teams every day and Teams' usage continues to grow at a rapid rate. Organizations seeking a platform to support a suddenly home-based workforce found their collaboration solution in Microsoft Teams, one of the latest additions to Microsoft 365, but most of these organizations already used Microsoft Outlook for communications and scheduling and they continue to use it.
